Report of number of DAYS worked for part-time employees during year

Thanks for reaching out here.  It's great to hear that you have your employee's best interest at heart.  QuickBooks is a powerful program with the features you need so you can run a report and have the required information at a glance.  I'll be happy to assist!

Here's how to get a report for the total hours worked by an employee:

1. Go to the Reports menu and choose Employees and Payroll, then Payroll item detail 

2. Click on Customize report

3. Go to the Display tab and in the Columns list, choose Qty

4. Use the Total by ▼ dropdown and select the Employee

5. Open the Filters tab and select Payroll item from the Filter list

6. Select the specific item associated from the ▼ dropdown, but if there's more than one type of hourly payroll item, select Multiple payroll items

7. When ready, hit OK

8. Change the date range if necessary

That's it!
