Hi brett-cleano2-ca,

Welcome to Community!  When recording your payroll tax payments in QuickBooks Online, the option to do a reversal is available, as long as it hasn't been processed electronically.  I'd be glad to assist!

Here's how to delete the payment, if you haven't approved it yet;

1. Go to Taxes and select Payroll tax

2. Open Payment history

3. Select the tax payment you want to delete. Change the date range if necessary.

4. From the Edit dropdown ▼, select Delete

5. Hit Yes to confirm

If you've approved the payment and plan to pay the taxes manually, follow these steps;

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts

2. Search for the bank account from where the tax payment was made

3. Open the Account History and select the Receiver General payment

4. Select Delete

5. Hit Yes to confirm that you want to delete the payment.

If you've approved the payment and submitted the payment electronically, you won't see the option to delete the payment.  In this case, you'll need to contact us outside of Community for additional assistance from our end.
