Set up QBO payroll for my client is not working.

I am trying to set up QBO standard payroll for a a client. When I click 'set up payroll' it takes me to the page that offers QBO Payroll and Wagepoint, but the button to start the trial doesnt do anything. I have tried changing browsers and clearing cookies. Still not working.

Welcome to the Community! Utilizing QuickBooks Online's Payroll add-on makes it easy to manage all of a client's employee and accounting activities all in one place and keep organized. I want to ensure that you're able to set this up and start taking advantage of the features it offers. 

 

It's great that you've already tried some troubleshooting steps on your own. Since clearing the cookies and changing browsers didn't work, I suggest trying the following troubleshooting steps, checking back between each one to see if the button becomes responsive: 

 

  • Try opening QuickBooks Online in a private/incognito browser.
  • Make sure you're using a supported browser and system
  • Reset your Internet or try on another computer or device

 

If the button still doesn't respond after trying these steps, I recommend reaching out to our support team outside of the Community. They can then look further into what's causing this issue, and escalate this to our software engineers if necessary. Here are the options for contacting them:
