Question

Trying to pay salaried employee time and a half for stat holiday which they worked, but when I add the time in stat pay column it takes time of salary, how do I enter it?

Hi beankeeping2017,

 

Having the payroll calculations accurately applied when recording the stat holiday pay, is vital to ensure the employee is paid accordingly.  I appreciate you reaching out regarding the unexpected behavior with stat hours being deducted from the regular hours.  QuickBooks Online Payroll is set up with the stat pay to be entered when creating payroll and should not be deducting from the hours as mentioned.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

If you haven't done so already, I recommend clearing cache on your browser and then log into your QuickBooks using a private or incognito browser to see if you get the same result.  I also suggest trying a different browser such as Safari, Edge, Google Chrome or Firefox.
