Question

We have employees that are unable to access their pay stub through workforce. It prompts them saying "Your employer isnt connected to Quickbooks Payroll. Contact them."

Hello alphastoneandlan,

Workforce is a great tool to help your employees easily get information about their paycheques and year-end forms, so I'm glad to see you're taking advantage of this option for QuickBooks Online Payroll. It's important to me that you're able to get all of your employees set up and logged into Workforce so they can get started. I'll help you with this.

For instances where you run into trouble with Workforce, there's a dedicated team that can lend a hand. Using the Workforce Chat, you can connect with a member of that team, explain the situation, and have them take a look to see what might be amiss. They're available from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

In some cases, we've noticed the kind of error you described when the employee email that's being used for Workforce access is also used for another Intuit login. It's best to use a different email to avoid these kinds of errors in those cases, and you should be able to delete the Workforce invite from the employee profile in QuickBooks Online Payroll to enter a different one. In the Payroll tab, select Employees, then employee name, and then Edit employee.

If what I've described with the emails doesn't apply to your situation or you're still having issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to that chat. The team will be able to help you and your employees get back on track.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
