What is the fasted way to resolve an urgent issue with a payroll account- insufficient funds

Welcome to the Community. Welcome to the Community. Being able to run payroll is essential to ensure that your employees are paid. QuickBooks Online payroll is a great program that gives you the ability to pay your employees and track your remittances. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction regarding insufficient funds for payroll.

 

If the bank doesn't accept all your payments or there is an insufficient funds, QuickBooks still pays your employees. However, your payroll service will be temporarily suspended (on NSF hold) until we are able to debit your account. You will receive an email with instruction regarding the suspension.

 

I 'd encourage you to contact our customer support team to have a closer look at your payroll account.

 

  • Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
