When completing the pay edit template, if we didn't deduct enough CPP or EI from an employee, do I enter it as a positive or negative number on the spreadsheet?

Hi there, 

 

Completing the Pay Edit Template is the easiest way to change your prior payroll information. Our support team helps you by making your corrections in the back-end, in order to make sure everything is recorded properly in your books. 

When you fill out the template, you're going to simply enter what the amounts are supposed to be. You're not entering the difference. 

Therefore, you'll enter all numbers as a positive amount, showing us what the numbers should be in the system. We'll then go in and correct the payroll information.
