When creating prior tax payments should you start with most recent payment made and work backwards or start with earliest payment?

When recording the WSBC annual adjustment is the Period start date the beginning of the year and Period end date end of the year?

It's vital that all your transactions are entered correctly for your totals to be accurate. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you calculate pay for employees based on the hours they've worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this adjustment.

 

For help with setting up the proper dates so that this adjustment will affect the books correctly, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. They'll be able to assist in creating this adjustment so that both your payroll totals and your books can be correctly affected. You can invite your accountant to QuickBooks Online so they can see your books by going to the My Accountant tab. You can also find an accountant near you that has experience using QuickBooks by clicking the Find a pro to help button located in that section.
