When I choose track locations. I do not have the drop down to change 'location' to 'business'

Making sure your invoices are being tracked to the right location is a great way to ensure everything gets logged correctly. I can help explain how this feature works.

The Location drop down menu is helpful when tracking invoices for multiple business locations. An example would be if you have one store in Vancouver and another in Ottawa, you can select which one this invoice is for by putting it in the Location drop down. This feature is not made to be used for having multiple businesses but one business with multiple places. If you're having trouble creating and assigning locations in QuickBooks Online you can follow the steps in this link: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1771201

At this time, batch entries for locations aren't something that is able to be done but our developers are always looking to hear feedback from what businesses are looking for. If you want to have the ability to add locations in batch, you can submit your ideas online by going to Gear>Feedback.
