Whenever I try to print cheques on the QuickBooks desktop I get a pop-up on my printer to Press "OK"

Whenever I try to print cheques on the QuickBooks desktop I get a pop-up on my printer to Press "OK". I went to the printer setting and tried all options on the printer preferences but still couldn't fix it. It only pops up when I try to print from

Being able to print out cheques in QuickBooks Desktop is a great way to pay your supplier and employees while keeping track of it all. I'd be happy to help you with getting your cheques printed.

 

Whenever you print a cheque in QuickBooks Desktop it sends the information to your printer using the same printer settings and options as any other program. If your printer is getting a pop up it could be due to a few different things. First it could be due to the printer set up you have in your printer settings and the printer setup you have set in QuickBooks. To check your printer setup you just need to go to File>Printer Setup>In the drop down select Cheques/Paycheques. If that is matching your settings you have for your printer the only other option is an issue with the printer driver or the paper you use to print the cheques. If that's the case you may need to contact the printer manufacturer to troubleshoot the issue.

The function is not on your printer. Just press OK on the print cheques screen to tell QB to go ahead and print.
