Question

Where can I find historical cheque info. I added employees to QBO payroll and had to add YTD (at the time) taxes deducted. Where can I find this info now?

Hi stownbookkeeping,

 

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online Payroll let's you see employee pay cheque history a couple of ways.  I'd be glad to help!

 

Follow these steps to see the paycheque history; 

 

1. From the left menu, open Payroll and then Employees

2. Select Paycheque list, under Run payroll

3. Click on the Filter ▼ dropdown 

4. Choose the Employee, Date range, or select a custom date range

5. Hit Apply

6. Select a paycheque to expand the view

 

You can also run an employee report.  Here's how;

 

1. Open Reports and enter Payroll summary by employee in the Search field

2. Hit Customize 

3. Choose the Employee

4. Select What to include

5. Run report
