I would like to set up a reminder for the bills past due.

I appreciate you reaching out to us here. QuickBooks offers a powerful accounting platform that helps you keep track of transactions with ease. QuickBooks allows you to set up automatic reminders when a bill is past due or right before the due date. I'll be happy to assist so you can enjoy this benefit.

 

Here's how to set up automatic reminders:

  1. Navigate to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click on the Sales tab.
  3. In the Reminders section, click Edit ✏️.
  4. Switch on Automatic invoice reminders.
  5. Click on the dropdown for Reminder 1, and turn on the toggle switch.
  6. From the dropdown fields, select days, and before or after to tell QuickBooks when to send the reminder. You can schedule and send email reminders up to 90 days before or after the invoice due date.
  7. You can create second and third reminders as you wish.
