Where is payroll to pay an employee within the app?

Hello skahacleaning-gm,

Welcome to Community!  The QuickBooks Online mobile app, is a dynamic way to complete your daily bookkeeping tasks, while on-the-go.  However, you will note some product limitations.  It's essential that you're able to access QuickBooks Online Payroll, so you can pay your staff with confidence.  In this situation, I recommend logging into your QuickBooks account from a web browser.  This will enable you to access the payroll feature, and run payroll without delay!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach back out.  We would be happy to help!
