Great question! I love that you're not only using QuickBooks Online Payroll, but that you're also looking to benefit from the QuickBooks Online mobile app to get your work done. I can absolutely shed light on what's going on and share some suggestions for working with your payroll data in QuickBooks Online.

 

QuickBooks Online's mobile app is designed with on-the-go data entry like invoices and bills in mind. Given that, it doesn't have the full features that you'd see in the browser or Windows/Mac app environment. Payroll is one of the features that's not included in the mobile app since it's a bit more of an involved process.

 

What you can consider when you need to work with payroll data is using a mobile browser on your device or waiting until you have access to your computer or laptop to work in a browser or the Windows/Mac app again. These will give you the opportunity to have close attention to detail that's often needed when running payroll.
