Why didn't my direct deposit didn't go through

Pay Method was direct deposit but it went through cheque payment

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll enables you to pay your staff with confidence.  It's important that your employees are paid as scheduled.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

When direct deposit isn't applied, it's important to ensure you've completed the set up process.  Recording the test transaction is key, in completing the set up.  If this step hasn't been completed, please follow the steps here, to retrigger it.  If additional information is needed, an email notification would have been sent to the Principal Officer on the associated bank account.  In addition, I recommend reviewing the bank account information to ensure it's accurate.
