Why isn't payroll calculating the CPP deduction correctly on a payroll that just started for the company in September of 2023?

Four employees who are over 18 and subject to CPP deductions are not having their CPP calculating correctly in QB.  The program is taking the bi-weekly deduction of 134.61 twice before multiplying by 5.95%.  A fifth employee's CPP deduction is calculating accurately.

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  It's essential that your employee deductions and contributions are accurate in QuickBooks Online Payroll, in keeping with government guidelines.  In this situation, I encourage you to contact our Customer Care team outside of Community, for direct assistance in real-time.  They'll have the ability to look into the unexpected behavior in more depth, and ensure the calculations are accurate for all employees, as soon as possible!
