Will Direct Deposit(DD) for payroll work right away after the 2 small deposits from QB are entered Or does it still take another few days to be able to run payroll via DD

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a dynamic way to pay your staff with confidence.  Setting up direct deposit can be done effortlessly, so you can run payroll as scheduled.  I'd be glad to provide some insight here!

Once you've entered the test transaction, and set up your employees, the process is complete and you're ready to run payroll.  However, if your account remains 'pending' or inactive, the principal officer on the account will receive an email notification from notify@quickbase.com, with instructions for resolving any concerns.  If an email hasn't been received, please follow the steps in this helpful guide, to retrigger the test transaction.
