Question

WSBC rate correction for processed payroll? I've updated the current rate however it did not recalculate the previous pay runs to calculate the correct amount.

Hi there AnnaLL,

It's vital that all your payroll information is correctly entered so that the pay can be accurate for your employees. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you calculate pay, deductions, and contributions based on the hours your employees worked. can point you in the right direction for assistance with editing this contribution.

Editing the rate shown for workers' compensation will only change the rate for payroll runs going forward. If you'd like to edit the amount for prior payroll runs, you'd need to reach out to the support team outside of the Community in order to make a payroll edit request. They'll be able to assist you in entering the required information in order to send it to the pay edit team to have the year-to-date balances updated. You can reach them using these steps:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
