Hi ilda49,

Yes, you can reconcile your bank account without connecting it to your online banking as long as you have transactions entered or imported in QuickBooks Online. Here's how to reconcile an account not connected to online banking.

  1. Go to Gear icon and select Reconcile.
  2. Select the bank account you would like to reconcile.
  3. Start with the first transaction on your statement.
  4. Find the same transaction in the Reconciliation window in QuickBooks.
  5. Compare the two transactions. If they match, put a tick next to the amount in QuickBooks. This marks it as reconciled.
  6. If a transaction doesn't appear on your statement but you see it in QuickBooks, don't put a tick.
  7. Compare each transaction on your statement with what's in QuickBooks.
  8. When you reach the end, the difference between your statement and QuickBooks should be $0.00. If it is, select Finish now.

When doing a bank reconciliation, it's best to have a bank statement with you and use it as a reference. For more information, you can also check on this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online
