How do i change a bank transaction from being entered as the payment account being "Transaction" instead of the banks name,to be able to reconcile my bank account?

I understand the importance of changing the bank transaction listed as "Transaction" instead of the bank's name, which is preventing you from reconciling your account.

The transactions downloaded into QuickBooks depend on the information provided by your financial institution. I suggest contacting your bank to inquire about changing it to the payment account.

If you meant modifying the category, we can do it by going to the Transactions menu. Here's how:

1. Go to the Transactions menu.
2. Click Bank transactions.
3. Choose the transactions you want to update.
4. Select the Account drop-down arrow.
5. Pick a payment account.
