Question

I am suddenly unable to see a clients bank reconciliation. I am the 'Accountant'. I previously had access to this function. The clients still has this function.

Hello there, @JaniceCG.

 

You’ll need to check if the bank account you want to reconcile is still active or not. I can explain this further and help you from there.

 

Checking if the bank account is still active allows you to know if this is the reason why you’re missing the reconcile option.

 

To check if the account is still active, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click on Accounting from the left panel.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Search for the bank account you want to reconcile.

If the account is still active, you can access the Reconcile option from the Gear icon.

 

But if it’s inactive, you can check the Reconciliation History. This way, you’ll see the reconciliation done for that account.
