H glaver,

You've come to the right place for assistance. I'll be happy to assist you with importing your bills to QuickBooks.

It's important that you get the formatting correct so you can successfully import the bills. As you know, this feature is available to you through the Gear Icon, Tools then selecting Import Data. You can also access this tool by selecting Expenses tab, Expenses then Import Bills. Here are some important things to take note of before you import the bills:

  •     Bills can be imported with multiple line items OR as a total value for each bill.
  •     Multicurrency is supported
  •     VAT codes are mapped so no need to change your VAT codes to QuickBooks VAT code formats before importing. For common VAT Codes please see VAT: Getting Started.
  •     Note: We recommend that no more than 100 bills are imported at any one time.

I encourage you to review this article for more info on what's required to successfully import your data. Once you're done checking out the article and you're still experiencing the same issue, feel free to reach back to me. I'll be on standby in case you need help. :)

In QB, when multicurrency is turned on, inventory value is always held in the home currency, no options
