Bill payment by shareholder from expenses recorded as bill payable to shareholder

Hi everyone,

I am fairly new to QBO but has a bit of accounting background.

How do I record bill payments from expenses payable to shareholder? Do I make a journal entry for it, debit due to shareholder and credit company chequing?

Welcome to the QuickBooks family!  QuickBooks Online has just what you need to record capital investments by owners and partners.  I'd be glad to assist!
