Business to Business

I have a business owner who used his corporate credit card to purchase something in his own business (the same business as the credit card). Basically it looks like Purchase made by Mark Inc from Mark Inc.

How do I classify that? what type of expense is it?

Hi accountant8902,

Welcome to the community family! QuickBooks Desktop is equipped with powerful tools to make it easier for you to run your business. I know how important it is to properly record your transactions. I'll be happy to point you in the right direction with this.

When it comes to how to classify transactions and which expense category to select for them, your accountant is an incredible resource. For that matter, I'd strongly encourage you to reach out to an accountant to make sure everything is lining up correctly in your books for your business needs. If you don't have an accountant, you can easily connect with one around your area on our  Find-a-ProAdvisor website

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
