I have a debt from last year.  I have just started QB online this year and want to enter the debt and be able to pay that debt with work I have done for this supplier.

So.... lol

How do I enter the debt?

How do I enter the work invoice I have done, to be able to pay it as "pay down the debt" without any actual money transactions?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program for tracking all of your business needs.  I'll be happy to help!

 

Based on the information you've provided, you can set up a loan in QuickBooks Online to record what you owe and the re-payments.  However, taking into consideration that it's from a previous year, it's best to reach out to your accountant for the best course of action.  If you don't have one, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.
