Question

Did the basic timesheet functionality I've been using for 5 years just get removed so I can be charged for something new?

Hi there,

Entering Weekly Timesheets is made simple with QuickBooks Online, and it's such a helpful way to save you time and keep things organized. So many of our users rely on the Timesheet feature to record hours worked. I'd be happy to clarify things for you.

There's been no changes to the availability of Weekly Timesheets in QuickBooks Online. If you're missing the feature in your account and are unable to use the Timesheets feature, I'd recommend doing some basic browser troubleshooting to get you started on a resolution.

Try clearing the cash and cookies in your web browser. These stored Internet files can build up over time and cause bugs in QBO and other sites. This may be causing missing features or tools such as Weekly Timesheets. Here's how to clear them: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

You can also try using Incognito Mode in Google Chrome. This is a private window that runs separately from the rest of your browser. Here's more information about what that is and how to use it: Browse in Private. You can also use an alternative browser all together.

If you're still experiencing an issue, please reach out to our tech support team so an agent can take a closer look at what may be happening.

Have a nice day.
