How do I change the Billable Hour Rate?

Hi there, 

 

Welcome back to the Community. It's important you're able to change the Billing Hour Rate and I'll show you how to adjust that. 

 

First, you'll need to access your Projects by clicking Projects from the left navigation menu. From here go to All Projects and click on Hourly cost rate at the top right. I'll attach an image below for visual reference: 

 

 

 

Try out these steps and let me know how you make out. I'll be here to help in case you need further assistance.

I believe you just showed how to change and set the hourly cost rate??? How do you adjust the BIllable hour rate?

Hi snazzyconstr,

 

Welcome to the Community family! It's important to me that you can change or adjust the billable hour rate of your employees. You can easily do so by selecting the employee of your choice in the Employee contact list report and edit the Billing rate section as needed. To access the report, simply click on this link when logged into QuickBooks Online: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/reportv2?token=EMP_CONTACT
