How do I record the expenses on credit from suppliers as equipment is received? For some of our suppliers, we have been given equip to sell with interest-free financing

It's great that you're making sure that your accounts remain accurate by entering the expenses on equipment received correctly. I can help point you in the right direction to get these entered.

 

QuickBooks Online allows you to enter and track all kinds of transactions to help with running your business. When entering transactions like this it's best to make sure you're tracking to the correct accounts so the funds are entered and tracked properly. For this reason I'd recommend reaching out to your accountant as they're trained on how to enter these kinds of transactions. If you don't have an accountant no need to worry, we got this.
