I am unable to mark project time as billable. Both in the employee timesheets and when looking at the activity as an admin. The checkbox to make billable is missing.

Welcome to the QuickBooks family. I’ll be happy to assist. With QuickBooks Online, you get access to a flexible Projects feature where you can create billable activities in a few simple steps. To make the Billable (/hr) box available, follow these steps:

1. Select the gear icon
2. Select Account and Settings
3. Select Time tracking
4. Check the box next to Make Single-Time Activity Billable to Customer
5. Select Save
6. Select Done
