I would like to connect our credit card accounts to automatically download expenses paid by corporate credit card. Where on the BS is a credit card account type?

Where does the "credit card" account type appear on Balance sheet. How do you record monthly payment on credit card?

Hi there Robyn261,

 

It's important to be able to correctly create your accounts in order for them to be able to be properly used while managing your books. QuickBooks Online allows you to set up multiple account types such as credit cards in order to easily keep track of money movement in your company. I can provide some information about credit cards in QuickBooks Online.

 

In order to create a credit card account in QuickBooks Online, navigate to accounting, and Chart of accounts. Click on the New option in the top right corner, then select the Credit card as the account type.

 

In order to make a payment to a credit card, click on the +New option, then select Pay down credit card. Select the credit card you'd like to record a payment for, and which bank account will provide this payment.
