I would like to print a cheque that does not pay a bill. How can I simply print a cheque?

Hey cchristensen,

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to print cheques, and it's great to see you're taking full advantage of this feature. It's designed with a focus on streamlining how you pay your suppliers, so most expense transactions can be printed. I'll be happy to show you how.

To print an expense or bill payment that already exists, simply open the transaction and click More at the bottom. Select Print cheque to start. To print a whole new cheque, create one from the + New button first (you can delete it once it's printed). Once that's done, it's just a few easy steps:

  1. Select + New then click Print Cheques.
  2. Load your cheques into the printer.
  3. Select the bank account containing the cheques you wrote that need to be printed.
  4. In the Starting cheque no. field, enter the cheque number of the first cheque in the printer. The cheque number is found to the right of the account number at the bottom of the cheque.
  5. Select Preview and print. If everything is correct, select Print.
  6. If your cheques printed OK, select Done.

Hope this helps!
