Question

Is there a way to see if there are any expenses that have NOT been assigned to a customer/project other than opening every expense individually?

For example, it would be great to have a column in the expense transactions view for "Customer/Project" so I can quickly see if there are any expenses that are not currently assigned to a project that should have been.

Hi karen221,

Welcome back to the Community. QuickBooks is a versatile program that helps you get ahead with your work. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track with your work.

I can see the benefit of having  a column in the expense transaction for "Customer/Project". Since this function isn't available, I recommend sending feedback to our engineers. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. In the meantime, I encourage you to explore our expense reports that can help you bring your finances into perspective.

Feel free to check out this article here that provides more info on expense reports available on your subscription. You can also customize your reports and filter them so you can view the info you'd like to view using the using this helpful guide here
