The supplier name and address are printed too high on a cheque and dont fit the window envelopes (re QBO) How do you fix that?

When printing checks, you'll want to be sure that they're formatted for QuickBooks. You can use your own, or order QuickBooks compatible checks from Intuit.

If you've already confirmed you're using compatible checks, you'll want to verify the printer you're working with is set up for QuickBooks so checks align and print correctly. Before starting, I'd recommend loading some blank paper into your printer for the test prints. This way, you won't be wasting actual checks if you need to make further changes to alignment.

Here's how to set up check alignment:
 

1. Use your + New button, then go to Print checks.
2. Click Print setup.
3. Choose a check type, voucher or standard.
4. Hit View preview and print sample.
5. Select Print.
6. Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
7. Put the sample print under a blank check and see if they line up correctly.

If it lines up, you're ready to print on your regular blank checks. In the event your check alignment is still off, you'll want to try installing or updating Adobe Reader next.
