Question

What is the best way to split employees pay cheques into classes or projects where is pulls both the hours into payroll and records the expenses in reports.

Thanks for reaching out to us, @erin.woods.

At the moment the paychecks in QuickBooks cannot be assigned with classes, unlike projects. When you want to run reports, you'll need to pull up different reporting to get the data you need.

For this, you can pull up a Time cost by employee or supplier report under Project Reports, and a Payroll summary by employee. Then you can compare both reports by date.
