Question

When sending remittance slips for bill payments to suppliers it seems as though the system no longer automatically attaches the PDF with the bill payment detail. Help!

Hello james-graham-sim,

Making sure that your suppliers receive their remittance slips once you send a bill payment is important for them to be able to track whether you've paid them. QuickBooks Online makes it easy to send these forms to your vendor. I can assist you in getting these attached to your emailed bill payments.

The setting to have the remittance slips to be attached as a PDF does need to be turned on. You can check to make sure the feature is active by going into the Gear Icon, then Account and Settings. You can then navigate into the Sales option in the left men, then click on the Pencil Icon next to the Online delivery subtitle. Make sure the box next to PDF Attached has a checkmark in it, then Save.

If the PDF isn't attached to the bill payment after making sure that the PDF Attached feature is turned on and resending it, this may be because your navigation in QuickBooks Online is being affected by Cache and Cookies in your browser. You can try these following steps to resolve any errors brought upon by too much browsing data:

If after doing these steps you are still unable to see the attachment to your remittance slips, I'd encourage you to contact our support team outside of community. They'll be able to do some more troubleshooting with you and notify our engineers if needed. Here are the ways you can contact them as well as hours of operation:
