Why are my square purchases showing up in expenses in a 5000 account?

So i have revenue from Square posting in 5007 when it should post in 4007. The report then shows it as an expense, not revenue. How can I correct this?

Hi info1644,

I want to welcome you to the QuickBooks Community. QuickBooks Online integrates well with many third-party apps like Square. I can point you in the right direction to check your integration settings.

The accounts that your transactions are recorded in are selected in the settings. The steps are laid out in this article: Square integration.

I'm sure that you'll have this fixed in no time. If you need a helping hand, reach back out. Have a fantastic evening!
