Question

WSIB payment is more than what QBO calculated. I paid the correct amount and placed it as an expense. How can I record this WSIB payment in QBO as it shows pas due.

Hi there,

It's important that your worker's compensation payments are correctly recorded in your books so that your books are correctly balanced. QuickBooks Online calculates deductions on payroll in order to make the process of filing to the government easier. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this payment.

In order to best be able to advise, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team. they'll be able to analyze your account setup, as well as the payment you've created in order to have you create it to correctly affect the Payroll system. You can reach out to them using one of these methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat
Social Media: FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
