From there, we can tap the amount or the transaction to see specific information. Before that, let's filter the dates to include the past entries. To correct this you can take these steps on what to do when a taxing agency withholds a portion of the refund for a separate balance due: Go to the Employees menu and select Payroll Taxes and Liabilities. Then, click Deposit Refund Liabilities. Click the name of the vendor who submitted the refund check. Why is my W2 not aligned on pre-printed forms? No problem, I'd like to share some steps to help you with the alignment. When the alignment is off, this can be caused by a variety of reasons. Since all printers are different, many of the troubleshooting steps below require you to have knowledge of your particular printer's setup. If you're unsure of the process, please contact your IT person or the printer manufacturer's tech support directly. Before we start, please make sure to perform the following: Update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. Ensure your computer is connected to the printer and that the printer software is installed

For updates or corrections, you can do it in a printed copy and manually mail it to the IRS. You can file the amended formr by following the steps below: Order 1099-NEC IRS forms online at IRS Online Ordering for Information Returns and Employer Returns. Fill out the 1099-NEC form and make sure to enter the correct Social Security Number. Tick the Corrected box. Once done, mail the form to the IRS.
