Set Up Auto Payroll Auto Payroll streamlines the payroll process by automating tasks and saving you valuable time. To utilize this feature, you must complete your initial payroll setup and run your first payroll through the platform. However, it's important to note that Auto Payroll is not suitable for commission-only employees, inactive employees, or 1099 contractors. It's also not recommended for hourly employees whose hours vary from pay period to pay period. Once your employees are enrolled, you’ll receive an email with the details of your upcoming payday, 2 business days before Auto Payroll processes. Then we’ll email you again after your Auto Payroll has been processed. You can sign in to QuickBooks Online to view or print paychecks. Let’s go ahead and jump straight into this Q&A! 1. How do I upgrade my account to add another user? It's great to know that you're considering upgrading your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription to add more users to your company! Let's go to the Subscription and Billing section to get started. Here's how: Log in to QBO as a primary or company admin. In your company, navigate to the Gear ⚙ icon and select Subscription and billing under Profile. Make sure your payment information is up to date. In the QuickBooks Online section, click the Upgrade your plan link to view the list of plans. From there, review the features available in each online version. Next, tap the Choose plan button and follow the on-screen steps to complete the upgrade process.
