ERROR "Line Item Tax Code Missing (TXN)"

Hi :)

 

I have created a new standard user profile for a new employee. When they try to add products to a new invoice there is no option to add TAX. Then when you try to save, it will only give you this error message: ERROR "Line Item Tax Code Missing (TXN)"

 

I have tried that same process myself using my Admin profile and I do not have this problem, the tax is automatically selected for me as per the products information. 

 

Also, this seems to be a problem with the Quickbooks app exclusively. It seems to work on an Ipad if I use a regular browser to open Quickbooks. 

 

How do I fix this?

Thank you so much for your question about tax codes missing on the app. 

 

As it seems to be an issue just with the app nd not with the account, are you able to please delete the app and reinstall it to see if that fixes your issue?
