Hi Im lodging my first BAS Statement and get this error "We can’t e-lodge this activity statement, as the software Id is missing or invalid. I checked with ATO its right.

Your software ID is tied up to your ABN (company ID), Lerga. It looks like you're unable to connect QuickBooks Online to the ATO.

You still have to connect the program to submit your BAS return. This way, ATO will know you're authorising us to process the lodgement. You have 2 ways to authorise us:

• Via phone
• Via ATO Access Manager

I'll provide the reference so you can enable BAS e-lodgement for QuickBooks Online. 

Although, if you've connected our program already, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support. An agent will check the company and software IDs you've provided to the ATO. Here's how to get in touch with us:

1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
2. Select Contact us.
3. Enter "Encountered an error when lodging BAS" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
4. Select either Start a chat or Get a callback.
