I am in a pay arrange with tax office for GST. The ATO has used my personal refund to pay my gst account. how can i record this? QBO only allows tax p'ments from bank?

I suggest creating a journal entry since QuickBooks won't let you pay the tax other than a bank account. This way, you're able to record the payment using the personal refund to offset the amount. But first, consult your accountant for guidance to which category this transaction goes.

Here's how:

1. Click the New button at the left panel.

2. Choose Journal Entry.

3. Fill in the necessary fields.

4. Hit Save and close.
