I went through gst payments and recorded them as paid but the money has come out again from my quickbooks bank account, how do i delete what i have done

If you've lodged GST/BAS in QuickBooks Online GST Center, the usual process we do in QuickBooks is you'll have to record the GST payment in the GST center and then, can match them to the downloaded payment in the For Review tab on the Banking page. That way, when you record a GST payment in the GST tab it will record a decrease on the ATO Clearing account and when you match the recorded payment in the For Review it will add a credit and offset the ATO Clearing account.

To record the GST payment:

1. Click on the GST tab, and click on To Do.
2. Click on the Record Payment on the BAS/GST period you wanted to record the payment against.
3. Enter the amount paid.
4. Select the Account the payment was withdrawn and the Date of the payment.
5. Click on Save.

You can then go to For Review screen of the Banking page to match the GST payment.

1. Click on the Transactions tab or Banking.
2. Click on the account the GST payment downloaded.
3. The bank feeds usually recognize the math if the date and amount are the same and correct.
4. Click on Match.
5. If you don't see Match automatically, click on Find Match to see the transactions.

If you wish to delete the GST payment recorded, you can use the steps below:

1. Click on the GST center.
2. Click on the Payments tab.
3. Locate the period affected, and click on Delete.
