There is a green checkmark on the bottom right on the account that I just uploaded the file. I did review all transaction of the last month. It shows "This account is up to date". I want to upload the file again to record another month. How can I fix this problem?

It can be challenging when you can't find the imported transactions, aoypossible-gmai. Not to worry, I'm here to help you locate them in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When you upload bank data, the transactions will be imported based on the date indicated in the file. It could be the reason you can't view them in the For Review tab. To fix this, I recommend sorting the dates. Doing so helps you modify the list of transactions from oldest to the latest. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and then select Transactions.
  2. Choose the bank account you've imported the data.
  3. Click the Date drop-down arrow to sort the date.
  4. Once done, you'll be successfully viewing the newest transactions.

In addition, make sure the Page Size is set to 300. This way, you'll be able to view them all. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon on the For review page. Then, scroll down to the bottom to make some changes. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.

Please keep me posted in the comments if you need additional assistance managing your transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care.

Hi there,

I've been following the discussion and advice here regarding QuickBooks transaction visibility issues, and I'm hoping to get some additional insight into a problem I'm facing.

I recently uploaded a statement to my QuickBooks "Nisachon" account, which included 143 transactions. The system confirmed a successful upload, but when I went to review these transactions under the 'Banking' or 'Transactions' tab, they were nowhere to be found. Instead, the account just shows a green checkmark, indicating everything is up to date.

On the other hand, my "Wanlapa" account displays an orange indicator with the number of transactions awaiting review – exactly as expected.

I've carefully checked the date ranges of the uploaded file for "Nisachon" to ensure there’s no overlap with previous uploads. Despite this, the transactions still aren't showing up for review. I've followed all the recommended steps mentioned here in the blog, but I'm still stuck with the same issue.

Any further advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm really keen to understand what might be causing this and find a solution.

Thanks in advance!

I know how to fix your concern about missing imported bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), aoy.

There are various sectors we can check to see why the transactions are unavailable from your bank feeds. With that, let me lay out these segments to start verifying and fixing the issue.

First, QuickBooks has an option where you can create a bank rule. This feature enables the application to categorise transactions from your bank automatically. Since you mentioned that your entries are unavailable from your For Review section, it could be that the rule applies and categorises them.

To verify, we can go to the Categorised tab in the banking menu. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Tap the Categorised tab and see your transactions.
  3. If you see the entry categorised as the incorrect account, you can unmatch and move it.

Otherwise, you can log in to your company file to a private or other supported browser. Doing so will eliminate common errors that hinder the application from working properly. To open an incognito window, you can follow these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)

Moreover, I added this article for further guidelines about categorizing entries and reconciling your bank. This is to keep your records accurate:
