Do you need to migrate data from QBD UK version to QBO Ireland version?

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/Ireland

You may have two ways to do so

1. Utilize a migration tool. i.e TPExporter for Desktop, TPImporter for Online

2. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

Hello there, @info1802.

Yes, I can help you move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online. However, since you've mentioned Ireland, I'd like to confirm if you're using QuickBooks Desktop (UK or US version) and migrate it to QuickBooks Online (QBO international version, Ireland)?

Note: QuickBooks Desktop is only applicable for UK, US, and Canada. When moving your QBDT data to QBO, the system requires to have the same region to convert the data.

To move you QBDT file to QBO, you can follow the steps:

  1. Log in to the company file you want to import as an administrator.
  2. Select Export Company File to QuickBooks Online from the Company menu.
  3. Choose Start your export.
  4. Log in to your QuickBooks Online firm as an administrator.
  5. Choose the QuickBooks Online company you want to replace with your company file by selecting Choose online company.
  6. Choose Continue.
  7. If you use QuickBooks Desktop to keep track of inventory:
  8. Select Yes to import them, then input the current date.
  9. If you want to create new items in QuickBooks Online later, choose No.
  10. Select Replace after typing Agree in the text area.
  11. Select Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.

As another option, you'll want to look for a third-party application that helps you move your data, as mentioned by Fiat Lux - ASIA.

  1. On the left panel, click Apps.
  2. Go to the Find Apps tab.
  3. Use the search bar to look for an app
