Can someone give me help and advice on importing COA and other lists from Desktop to QBO?

Utilize a migration tool. i.e TPExporter for Desktop and TPImporter for Online.

Should you need to migrate all data (i.e COA, Lists, and Transactions), you may consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service.
