I have multiple payments that I receive on a daily basis from different customers. How can I post these payments by importing into quickbooks using an excel file ?

Hi there, @kevin-ochieng.

I'd like to share some insights about importing your customers' payments in QuickBooks Online through an Excel file.

At this time, being able to import customers' payments in QuickBooks Online using an Excel file isn't available. The program only allows you to import Excel files for bank transactions and lists.

To get your work done, I recommend checking for a third-party application that integrates with the system and supports the functionality.

I can see the convenience of having the option to import payments in QBO. Know that our developers are always gathering and considering new features to be added in the program to cope with our customers' needs.

I'd encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Online Blog site regularly to be updated with our news and product enhancements.

Lastly, here are the complete list of the data that can be imported in QBO via Excel files:

Let me know if you have any other questions or concern. I'll be around to lend a helping hand. Have a good one!

Utilize TP Importer to import your Receive Payments data.

The template should be like this

Very disappointing from Quickbooks. I don't look forward to manually paying hundreds of invoices each week. This is supposed to make life easier but this is just the opposite...

Use SaaSant to import. Less than $10 a month and you can import/export and even modify nearly all the data you put to Quickbooks. Receipt, payments, customers, COA you name it does it. The best thing is unlike any other software out there you can back out the data you have imported and run again. I have over 1500 invoices to input at the month-end. Once the template format is set up it's quick and easy.
