If i import data for product and services, do i need to change the coloumn position and name according to QB format?

You don't have to change the column position and name when you import products and services. However, I suggest using the correct format to complete the details and map the items. For additional information in formatting tips, you can click this article: Import products and services from Excel.

Once done, please follow the steps below on how to import then in QBO:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Import Data.
2. Choose Products and Services.
3. Tick Browse on the Import products and services page.
4. Find and select your Excel file. Press Open, then Next.
5. Map your information. Your Field represents the headers on your spreadsheet. From each drop-down menu, select the one that matches a field in QuickBooks Online.
6. Hit Next.
7. Choose Overwrite all values option for each product or service with the same name. Make sure everything looks correct because this can't be undone.
8. Choose  Import.

After that, if you see some cells highlighted in red, this means the cell is invalid. I recommend checking the cell in Excel and try again.
