In Import Products and Services, I received a message stating: Something's not quire right! Unexpected server error. Please try again. What to do?

I selected the Excel file to upload and clicked on the Browse button. Then the message: "Something's not quite right! Unexpected server error. Please try again." appeared. I cleared the cache/browser history, but the error keeps coming up. Any clue how to solve this? Or is there really a server error at this time?

I appreciate you for doing the basic troubleshooting steps to get this fix. I'm to help you import products and services in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Since the issue persists after following the help articles shared by my colleague above, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team. They're able to pull up your account in a secure environment using their screen-sharing (remote access) tool. They can also investigate the root cause of why you're unable to import the CSV file.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), click the Help (question mark) icon at the top right.
  2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.
