I want to close my QuickBooks account and reopen a new one so everything will start over at zero. Is there a way to import customer info and history with no financial information?

I've got your back, @Goebelquality.

Yes, you have the option to import your customer data without financial information. Let me guide yGoebelquality.ou through the process.

Firstly, you'll need to export your customer's information before closing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Export data.
  2. Go to the Lists tab and toggle Customers.
  3. Select Export to Excel.
  4. Then, save the Excel file to your computer.

Then, you can now close your QBO account and reopen a new one. Then, import the exported customer information. To do so, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Open your new QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Import data.
  3. Select Customers from the list.
  4. Choose Browser and find the Excel file you exported.
  5. Click Next, then follow the on-screen instruction to finish the import.

I'm adding this article for more guidance: Import customers from an Excel file.

Once done, you can now start working with your new QBO account. Just in case you want to view all your sales transactions made in QuickBooks, feel free to read this article for the detailed steps: View sales transactions.

Please let me know if you need further assistance importing customers into QBO. I'm still open to your replies, @Goebelquality.
